Sex Offender Arrested In Titus County

 Titus County deputies responded to a suspicious person call on Hwy 271 near Mt. Pleasant and arrested Steven Wayne Kay, Jr for possession of drug paraphernalia. Further investigation showed he was a registered sex offender in Oregon, but had not notified authorities that he had left the state and was now living at a home on CR 1535 in Titus County. He was also charged with failure to register as a sex offender.
