Shootout At Princeton

A Princeton Police Officer and a suspect were hospitalized early Thursday morning after a shootout. Officers worked an assault at about 3:00 am. They located the suspect, who attacked the officer with a weapon, and both received gunshot wounds. The officer and the unidentified suspect are in stable condition at area hospitals. Texas Rangers are investigating.
