Smith County Becomes “2nd Amendment Sanctuary City”

By a 4-1 vote, Smith County Commissioners on Tuesday approved a resolution designating the county as a “Sanctuary County for the Second Amendment.” The resolution states, “The members of the Smith County Commissioners Court took an oath to support and defend the United States Constitution, the Constitution of the State of Texas, and the laws of the State of Texas”
