Smith County Inmate Dies

An inmate was found unresponsive in his cell at the Smith County jail Sunday night and emergency treatment was immediately begun by jail staff. Fifty-seven-year-old Albert Lee Moore was then transported  to the Christus Mother Frances emergency room for treatment and then admitted to the hospital. He died Monday morning. Texas Rangers are investigating.
