Smoky AC Unit Leads to Fire Call at PISD School

Paris ISD police confirmed that a fire alarm was pulled by school officials Wednesday when they smelled a smoky odor.  That was determined to be because of an overheated motor in the air conditioning unit on the roof of the building. The school was evacuated briefly and the fire department  determined everything was fine.  Students then returned to their classes.
