Softball Playoffs Plus Rangers Take Down A’s

The Bi-district round of the playoffs begin tonight. NL will be in Quitman to play Brownsboro. That game will be on Mix 107.7. Pregame at 6:45. First pitch at 7:00.

The Prairiland Lady Patriots will take on Redwater at Pine Tree HS. First pitch at 8 PM.

The Paris Wildcats will play a warmup game Saturday at 1 pm on the road against District 10-4A champion Carrollton Ranchview.

The Prairiland baseball team has scheduled two warm up games for this weekend. They will play Friday at Whitesboro at 7:30 PM. Then on Saturday they will host Detroit at 7 PM

Congratulations to North Lamar Junior Mckayla Figueroa, who was selected to play on the Under Armour National softball team at the World Series in Florida this June.

The NFL draft starts tonight with the Cowboys picking at 19. However Steven Jones says don’t be surprised if they move up in the first round.

And the Rangers defeated Oakland 4-2 last night. Jesse Chavez gets the win. Texas is off tonight and will be in Toronto starting Friday.
