There are still a limited number of tickets available for The Hopkins County Freedom Ball, set for 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Saturday, May 21 at the Hopkins County Civic Center. The ball celebrates the county’s veterans and active military and benefits the Hopkins County Veterans Memorial and other projects helping local veterans and their families. The ball includes a salute to the military, a speaker, dinner, music, etc. The cost is $125 each and is available at Tully Insurance or from Danny Davis in the Veterans Service Office in the courthouse.
Civilians are welcome to help celebrate our Veterans.
Your attendance is a beautiful way to show that you care about our veterans.
The funds raised at this event will:
1: Buy a transport van for the Hopkins County Veterans Service Office to further our efforts to aid the veterans and surviving spouses we serve.
2: Fund College Scholarships and job training for veterans in Hopkins County.
3: Engrave Unfunded names on the Hopkins County Veterans Memorial Wall
4: Assist with the upkeep of the Hopkins County Veterans Memorial
The dress code is formal to business casual (Suits and button-downs welcome)
