Soper ISD Elementary Student Tests Positive For Coronavirus

The Soper School District in Choctaw County has reported an elementary school student tested positive for coronavirus. The parents of the student called the school district Thursday morning after receiving the results of the child’s test. All students in the Soper ISD share the same campus and the same common areas. This is the first COVID-19 case in Choctaw County, and one of only four documented cases in Oklahoma involving a child under 18 years old.
