Special Session Called For Texas Legislature

Governor Abbott has notified Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick and House Speaker Dade Phelan that a special session will begin on October 9. Abbott still needs to state the purpose of the upcoming session. He mentions calling another special session to focus on vouchers, school choice, and public school funding.
