Tennessee Titans held a group workout on September 30 despite the NFL’s directive that banned such gatherings while the club’s facility was closed due to its COVID-19 outbreak. The meetup took place at Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, where private school students saw a group of football players they identified as the Titans. A total of 20 players and personnel staff contracted the virus last week. With two more players testing positive on Wednesday, the Titans’ Week 5 contest against the Buffalo Bills is now in jeopardy.

In the MLB playoffs, Atlanta takes two games to none lead after a 2-0 win over the Marlins. The A’s avoided elimination with a 9-7 victory over the Astros.

Tampa Bay leads their series 2-1 after defeating the Yankees 8-4. And the Dodgers edged out the Padres 6-5 to go up 2-0 in that series.
