The Sulphur Springs Wildcats season came to an end last night at the Alamodome, as they fell to San Antonio Wagner 62-52. They end their season with a 30-10 record.

Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Seaver has been diagnosed with dementia and will retire from public life, his family announced on Thursday. In a statement released by the Hall of Fame, Seaver’s family expressed thanks to those who have supported the New York Mets great throughout his career and asked for privacy.

The Denver Broncos are working on a deal to trade quarterback Case Keenum to the Washington Redskins. The NFL Network first reported that the teams are working on the trade. The 31-year-old Keenum is currently slated to count $21 million against the Broncos’ salary cap for the 2019 season.

Veteran wide receiver Pierre Garcon will become a free agent after the San Francisco 49ers passed on his option for 2019, the team announced Thursday. The 49ers opted to take on $7.2-million in dead money rather than carry Garcon’s cap number of $8.275-million. In two seasons with the Niners, Garcon had 64 catches for 786 yards with one touchdown while appearing in 16 games.

Nick Boyle knows more than anyone that blocking tight ends are underappreciated in the NFL. After re-signing with the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, Boyle said the general response he has heard about his three-year, $18 million deal is, “Nick Boyle, who?” Boyle, who turned 26 in February, is the most underrated of the Ravens’ offensive starters who was scheduled to hit free agency. He lined up as a tight end-fullback hybrid, helping Baltimore rush for an NFL-best 4,297 yards over the past two seasons.

Multiple teams approached the Chicago Bears at the NFL scouting combine last week to discuss a potential trade for running back Jordan Howard, league sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Thursday. Howard, 24, finished the regular season on a high note, but questions remain as to whether he is a long-term fit in coach Matt Nagy’s offense.  Sources said discussions about a potential deal for Howard are ongoing

WWE confirmed Thursday that WrestleMania 36 will take place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, on April 5, 2020. WWE’s annual showcase will emanate from the home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, marking the third time in nine years that the WWE’s biggest annual card will be held in Florida. All told, it will be the fourth time WrestleMania will be held in Florida
