State Not Renewing Current Fishing, Hunting Agreement With Choctaw Nation

In a press release Monday, the Choctaw Nation said that the state of Oklahoma is letting an agreement allowing tribal members to get free hunting and fishing licenses to expire. Despite starting negotiations with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife to renew the compact last August, as of Monday, nothing has happened. The agreement is expiring Tuesday (Dec 31).
