State Prison Inmate Captured Shortly After Escape

Thirty-nine-year-old state prison inmate Jesus Villarreal, who escaped from a Huntsville Unit on Sunday, was captured about 230 miles away in Calallen, Texas, later in the day. Villarreal escaped from the prison early Sunday morning and then stole a car from a convenience store near the prison. He was heading for the border when they captured him along with Melissa Lozano, who they charged with hindering apprehension.
