State Rep Proposes Arming First Responders

State Representative Dan Flynn, who represents Hopkins, Hunt and Van Zandt counties says he will propose a bill relating to the carrying of a handgun by a first responder engaged in the actual discharge of the first responder’s duties. Flynn said the bill would allow first responders to carry a firearm on the job if they have a valid CHL without restrictions on places to carry.
