Statement From Pewitt’s Superintendent

This morning, at approximately 7:20 AM, Pewitt CISD bus 91 was involved in a two-vehicle traffic accident in Omaha, near the intersection of FM 144 and HWY 67. Thankfully, all students riding the bus were unharmed, and paramedics treated the driver for only minor injuries. First Responders evaluated all students and the driver at the scene of the accident. Immediately upon notification of the accident, the District’s Emergency Response Protocols was initiated. I would like to take this opportunity to commend our first responders for their efforts and quick action.
