Student In Custody After Prairiland Threats

Lamar County Deputies were notified Monday after a Prairieland High School student made what were called alarming comments. The subsequent investigation led to a student being taken into custody. The investigation is continuing and no other details can be disclosed at this time. Prairieland school officials stressed that they take the safety of the students very seriously.
