Sulphur Springs City Council To Hold Hearing On Tax Rate

A special meeting of the Sulphur Springs City Council will be held at noon on Friday. The purpose of the meeting is to hold a public hearing on the proposed property tax rate. The rate will remain the same at 44 cents per hundred valuations. Property values are reportedly up in the city.
