Sulphur Springs Council Meets

The Sulphur Springs City Council met in Special Session Tuesday night and voted to keep the effective tax rate the same, at .44 cents per $100 valuation. The council voted to raise the salaries of the two municipal judges, JP’s B.J. Teer and Brad Cummings by $350 a month. A $3800 a year raise was given to City Secretary Gale Roberts.
