Sulphur Springs ISD Board Meeting

PE teachers and coaches Eddie Flores, Travis Willoughby, and the campus police officer Adrian Pruitt resigned at this week’s Sulphur Springs ISD Board of Trustees meeting. Also leaving is Jenifer Maldonado, an instructional aide at Austin Academic Center. The board approved the hiring of Kwasia Timmons to be a special education aide at the middle school. In addition, they extended the contract of Superintendent Mike Lamb.

Sulphur Springs ISD board passed a resolution to pay idled employees, those told not to report to work, and those required to provide emergency-related services during emergency school closures, such as the recent school closure due to illnesses. In addition, those needed to work will receive premium pay.
