ACTION ITEMS
Along with routine matters, the board approved the following:
Quarterly Investment Report for the three months ended November 30, 2018.
Comprehensive Annual Report on Investment Activity for the fiscal year ended August 31, 2018, and annual review of investment policy and strategy.
District’s Annual Financial and Compliance Report for the fiscal year ended August 31, 2018, by Rutherford, Taylor and Company, P.C. The district received an “unmodified” opinion, which is the best that can be received.
Resolution 7-18 electing James Litzler to serve on the Hopkins County Appraisal District Board of Directors for the term beginning January 1, 2019, and ending December 31, 2010.
Acknowledgment of Conflict of Interest Policies and Disclosure Requirements in consideration of the Application and Agreement of Solemio LLC for an Appraised Value Limitation on Qualified Property for School District Maintenance and Operations Taxes.
Resolution (8-18) designating a certain area as a reinvestment zone in connection with an economic development agreement under Chapter 313 of the Texas Tax Code.
