A regular meeting of the Sulphur Springs ISD school board was held Monday, October 17, 2016.
No one requested to address the Board.
High School students were recognized for the following:
- Christian Corona – CollegeBoard National Hispanic Recognition Program
- Mandy Eckhart – Outstanding performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test in 2015
ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS
Kristin Monk and Lisa Robinson presented a report on curriculum & reading data.
A report was given of Red Ribbon Week activities. Red Ribbon Week will be observed in SSISD October 24-28.
Board members were provided with copies of the following Head Start items for informational purposes:

- Policy Council Minutes for September
