A 57 year old Sulphur Springs has been arrested on a sealed Hopkins County indictment for aggravated sexual assault of a child. Bond for William Lonnie Wallis was set at $50,000. The lead investigator in the case was Sulphur Springs Police Detective Sgt. David Gilmore, who said the alleged offense occurred in February.
