Hopkins County Jail
A Sulphur Springs man was arrested on several charges after he was stopped by a Hopkins County deputy early Monday morning for having a defective license plate on the SUV he was driving. A check with dispatch revealed 31 year old James Michael Morris was wanted on a warrant for burglary and was also found to be possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence. Morris had been charged with arson in December.
