Sulphur Springs Man Faces Multiple Charges

A  Sulphur Springs man walking on the wrong side of the street was contacted by a Sulphur Springs police officer, who said the man had thrown something onto the ground. That turned out to be suspected cocaine. 46 year old Larry Tyrone Goodson attempted to run away but was captured after a brief foot chase and booked into the Hopkins County jail for evading arrest, resisting arrest and possession of less than 1 gram of a controlled substance.  His bond was set at $20,000.
