Sulphur Springs Man Jailed After Traffic Stop

Sulphur Springs Police stopped a Mockingbird Lane vehicle for an undisclosed traffic violation and suspicious of the driver and the passenger. They asked the occupants to step out of the car, and a search of the passenger turned up a pack of cigarettes that contained a baggy of methamphetamine. They charged Joe Dale Cohorst of Sulphur Springs with a Controlled Substance, a third-degree felony.
