Sulphur Springs Man Jailed For Family Violence

A Sulphur Springs man was arrested after allegedly choking his girlfriend during a disturbance in the 600-block of  Houston Street. Bond was set at $30,000 for 39-year-old James Wesley Whitworth on a third-degree felony charge of Assault of a Family or Household member by impeding breath or circulation.
