Sulphur Springs Mayor Proclaims Friday “Lupus Awareness Day”

Sulphur Springs Mayor John Sellers has proclaimed tomorrow “Put on Purple Day” to raise awareness of Lupus disease. An estimated 1.5 million Americans suffer from Lupus, which is a chronic inflammatory, an autoimmune disease that can affect various parts of the body, especially the skin, joints, blood, and kidneys.
