Sulphur Springs Man Sent To Prison After Probation Revoked

Eighth District Judge Eddie Northcutt has revoked the probation for a man arrested in August on multiple charges. Officials arrested 26-year-old Jeffrey Edward Mowrer for Tampering with Evidence, drug violations, weapons, and evading charges. He was sentenced to five years in prison and was judged to be a habitual criminal, meaning if he commits another crime he will face 25 years to life.
