A 21-year-old Sulphur Springs man has been sentenced in 8th District Court in Hopkins County after pleading guilty to cattle theft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Lane Wesley Keller received 10 years in prison for the cattle theft and two years in state jail for stealing an ATV. The case was investigated by Southwest Cattlemen’s Association Special Ranger Tony Hurley. Hurley and Hopkins County Criminal Investigator Dennis Findley. The cattle were sold in Oklahoma.
