Supporters Optimistic About Legalizing Sports Gambling In Texas

With just weeks to go before the start of the legislative session, lawmakers from both parties have signaled support to legalize sports gambling in Texas. Former Secretary of State John Scott says the industry is listening to their concerns and addressing them with technology He’s now working with the Sports Betting Alliance in Texas. He says advances in technology make it nearly impossible for kids to place a bet though these apps. Also, he says, it can address problem gambling.
