Supreme Court To Consider Texas “Fetal Heartbeat” Law

Today, two lawsuits have oral arguments challenging the strict, new Texas abortion law before the Supreme Court. Abortion providers bring one, and the Department of Justice brings the other. Both will determine whether the fetal heartbeat law can remain in effect, but neither will address the more significant issue over the constitutional right to abortion.
