Suspect Captured After Allegedly Shooting Henderson County Deputy

A Blue Alert for a man suspected of shooting a Henderson County Sheriff’s Deputy near Berryville at about 3:00 am Wednesday has been canceled. The deputy, whose name wasn’t released, was wearing a protective vest and was treated and released from the hospital. After the shooting, 39-year-old, Jeremy Brian Cook fled on a motorcycle but was captured in Cherokee County. He’s being held without bond.
