Suspect Hospitalized After Mesquite Police Shooting

Mesquite Police confirmed that an officer from their department was involved in a shooting Saturday in Dallas. It happened after a police chase ended inside the Dallas city limits. The shooting happened after the suspect bailed out of the vehicle, and displayed a handgun. Officers shot him but provided life-saving measures, and the suspect was hospitalized in stable condition.
