Suspect Identified In Upshur County Hit-And-Run

The suspect arrested by State Troopers in connection with a fatal hit and run in Upshur County has been identified as 57-year-old James Martin Morris, of Pittsburg. He’s charged with criminally negligent homicide. The person killed in the crash was 38-year-old Frederick Fountain of Irving and occurred on Hwy 271 about three miles north of Gilmer.
