Suspected Burglar Shot By East Texas Homeowner

Harrison County Deputies arrested a Longview man after a homeowner shot him while attempting to burglarize a residence. A woman who lived at the place told officers she surprised Matthew Dillon George in her home and ordered him to leave. He refused, and she shot him one time. He was transported to a Longview hospital, then to a Tyler hospital, and then to jail.
