TABC Monitoring Bars, Restaurants For COVID Violations

Restaurants and bars could see some stiff penalties if they break the governor’s COVID restrictions. For a businesses’ first offense, it would mean a 30-day suspension of their liquor license. TABC agents will try to work with owners by getting them to operate within the rolled back capacity limits and shutdowns voluntarily, noting a license suspension would represent a significant financial hit to small businesses.
