TAMU-Commerce Student Dies In Crash

A 19  year old student at Texas A&M-Commerce was killed Friday afternoon in a crash on State Highway 24, between Interstate 30 and FM 499. State Troopers say 19 year old David Colvin of Cooper and another vehicle were northbound when Colvin passed an 18 wheeler on the right  and the other vehicle passed the big rig on the left. Colvin reportedly ran off the road, went airborne and hit a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
