Lion Football Fan Day is Saturday, August 19
COMMERCE – As the back-to-back-to-back Lone Star Conference champion Texas A&M University-Commerce Lion football team prepares for the 2017 season, fans will have an exclusive opportunity for personal interaction and events during Lion Football Fan Day on Saturday, August 19. The event will commence at 9:00 am on the Memorial Stadium west concourse, with a scrimmage also beginning at that time.
Those who have already purchased season tickets will be able to check out the view from their selected seats and pick up their tickets, while new season tickets will also be available for purchase. Season tickets are also available online at http://www.WeAreLionsTix.com. Tailgate spots will also be available to reserve that day.
Following the scrimmage, fans will be able to interact with the team and get schedule posters and cards autographed.

Nine Lions to participate in August 2017 Commencement Exercises
COMMERCE – The Texas A&M University-Commerce athletics department celebrated the graduation of its student-athletes this weekend, as nine Lions received degrees at Summer Commencement ceremonies in the Field House on Friday and Saturday.
Nine Student-Athletes, Student Athletic Trainers, and coaching staff members are participating in graduation, with six earning bachelors’ degrees and three earning their Masters degree.
The Summer graduates were honored with a reception on Friday night following the graduate program’s commencement ceremony. Ceremonies for bachelor’s degrees are Saturday.
