The 4th Annual Tanner Higgins Warrior Run Saturday, April 9th at Cooper Lake State Park. The event honors Staff Sergeant Tanner Stone Higgins, a Sulphur Springs High School graduate killed in action by enemy forces in Afghanistan in 2012. The Warrior Run raises money to help service men and women and their families..Last year medical equipment and a substantial sum of money was donated to a former soldier whose baby needed a kidney transplant.
