Task Force Continuing Investigation Into Major Tire, Wheel Thefts

The East Texas Auto Theft Task Force is continuing its investigation into the theft of a quarter million dollars worth of tires and wheels from a Tyler auto dealership. Investigators say the theft was the work of highly trained professionals that have been targeting dealerships throughout the state. Video of the crimes indicates the thieves are driving a large rental Penske box truck. Authorities believe the tires may be being sold out of the country.
