Teachers Say They Need Higher Prioritization On Vaccine Allocations

The Texas State Teachers Association calls Governor Abbott to allow schools to close for in-person learning until teachers make the state’s Covid vaccine priority list. The Association says it’s time for Abbott to recognize how dangerous the virus is currently spreading. The Association adds that schools shouldn’t fear losing state funding if they go to an all-virtual learning format.
