Teen Charged With Burning Down Upshur County Church

Upshur County Deputies arrested a 16-year-old juvenile concerning the burning of Mt. Lebanon CME Church on Friday. They say the church building was nearly a total loss. Deputies found a wrecked car near the church, and the 16-year-old suspect admitted to wrecking the car and having caused the fire at the church. He’s charged with felony arson and is in a juvenile detention facility.
