Teen Faces Manslaughter Charge

Greenville police say an 18-year-old man faces a manslaughter charge after a rifle he was handling went off and killed Bethany Ann England, 17. Bethany died Tuesday, Nov. 22, on Henry Street. The suspect had been playing with a rifle in front of the girl. Bethany Ann England died the night of Nov. 22 after the suspect thought the gun was unloaded and pulled the trigger. Police did not release the teen’s name.
