Teen Guilty Of Murdering Fellow Student

A court sentenced the 16-year-old boy convicted of murdering a student outside Arlington Lamar High School to 40 years in prison. The unnamed juvenile boy could get out much sooner. Judge Andrew Kim said he would hold a hearing on the juvenile’s 19th birthday to determine if he would be turned over to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice to continue serving his sentence or if he’d be given probation with conditions and returned to society.
