Upshur County Deputies arrested a 16-year-old boy in connection with a shooting incident that sent a 15-year-old to the hospital for treatment of a severe injury. They charged the juvenile with second-degree felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The incident occurred on Gopher Road Sunday morning around 1:45. Allegedly, the shooting happened after a dispute between multiple teens.
