Testimony is underway in New Boston in the Capital Murder trial of a northeast Texas man accused in the fatal beating of his four-year-old son. Officials are accusing 25-year-old Benearl Jermane Lewis of causing the traumatic brain injuries that ended the life of D’Money Lewis. An autopsy showed the child had other blunt force injuries.
