Testimony Underway In Wood County Murder Trial

A Wood County jury of seven women and five men was seated in Quitman for the First-Degree murder trial of 46-year-old Jason Walters. He’s accused of fatally shooting 18-year-old Christopher Griffin outside an EZ-Mart convenience store in Mineola. Testimony in the trial will continue today. Walters claims the shooting was in self-defense.
