Student Loan Forgiveness For Texans

Almost 64,000 Texans will have their federal student loans forgiven after a U.S. Department of Education review concluded they qualified for the benefit. The total amount the government ignores will average $48,500 per borrower. Texas benefits the most as it has the most borrowers. They will notify borrowers that the government will automatically cancel in 30 days.
