Texarkana, USA (May 7, 2018): The Texarkana Chamber of Commerce shall host their quarterly joint city meeting with the leadership of Texarkana, Texas, and Texarkana, Arkansas, tomorrow, May 8 at 3:00 pm at the Ark-Tex Council of Governments Offices, 4808 Elizabeth Street, Texarkana, TX.
The May 8 meeting shall focus on crime in Texarkana. Guest presenters shall be Kristi Bennett, Marketing Officer & Rick Cockrell, Active Shooter Officer, Texarkana, Arkansas Police Department; Daniel L. Shiner, Chief of Police, Texarkana, Texas Police Department; Stephanie Potter-Black, Texarkana, Arkansas Elected Prosecutor 8th Judicial District South; Jerry Rochelle, Texarkana, Texas Prosecuting Attorney; Bill Miller – 5th District Judge, Texas; and Carlton D. Jones, Circuit Court Judge, 8th Judicial District South – Arkansas, First Division.
The cities’ Mayor and two members of the Texarkana, Arkansas Board of Directors and two members of the Texarkana, Texas city council will represent each town. Michael Malone, President of the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce, shall be facilitating the program.
