Texarkana Federal Inmate Dies of COVID

An inmate at the federal prison in Texarkana has died after testing positive for Coronavirus. Prison officials said the 53-year-old inmate had pre-existing medical conditions that put him at greater risk for developing a severe COVID infection. There are currently 76 inmates at the prison with active COVID, and 4 staff members with the infection.
